Grilled Envy™ Portabella “Burger”



  • 1 Envy™ Apple
  • 2 Portobello Mushrooms
  • ¼ C Olive Oil
  • 1T Lemon Juice
  • 2 Cloves of Garlic, Minced
  • 1t Oregano
  • 1t Salt
  • ½ C Herbed Goat Cheese
  • 2 Brioche Buns
  • 2 Large Pieces of Butter Lettuce
  • 2T Mayonnaise


  1. Slice Envy™ apples horizontally into thick round wedges and remove seeds using a fork.
  2. Remove portobello stems to prepare for grilling.
  3. Combine half of the olive oil, lemon juice, garlic, oregano, and salt in small bowl.
  4. Using a basting brush, coat portobellos on both side with olive oil mixture.
  5. Grill stem side down for 2 minutes and then flip.
  6. Add goat cheese to portobellos and grill an addition 2-3 minutes until cheese is melted.
  7. Use remaining olive oil to coat Envy™ rounds and place on grill.
  8. Grill Envy™ rounds for about 1-2 minutes per side to lightly char each side.
  9. Serve portobello with Envy round on brioche buns with mayonnaise and lettuce.
