Bloomin' with Envy

  • 2 Envy apples
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 3 tbsp brown sugar, packed
  • 1 tbsp flour
  • 2 tsp cinnamon
  • 4 caramels
  • Optional: vanilla ice cream, caramel sauce, cinnamon


  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees
  2. Slice top ¼ off of apples and scoop out core with melon baller
  3. Cut two deep circular rings around center of apples then make narrow cuts all the way around, fan out layers
  4. Place two caramels in center of each apple and place in an oven-safe dish
  5. Add butter and brown sugar and microwave for 30 seconds, stir and microwave for an additional 30 seconds. Stir in flour and cinnamon. Divide mixture on top of apples
  6. Bake for 35-40 minutes
  7. Remove from oven and place apples into bowls topping them with ice cream, drizzle with caramel and sprinkle cinnamon on top
